Pure Sweden — two weeks on the road in the north

The trip started in Kiel. From there, the route took the ferry via Fehmarn to Denmark and on across Öresund to Sweden. For two weeks, our customers were traveling with their pickup truck and truckbed camper, without a fixed plan, simply with time, curiosity and an open eye for what was on the way.
People almost always slept in the wild. The parking spaces were created spontaneously, without apps or prior planning, just by feeling. Usually on a lake, in a small clearing or on the edge of a forest path. The rule was always: respect signs and avoid open barriers. A little tip that quickly came true: If there is a mailbox on a long driveway, there is usually a house at the end.
The days did not follow a fixed schedule. The next stage was decided on the basis of weather, pleasure and route. It was navigated with MapOut and Google Maps on the iPad. This resulted in many discoveries and experiences, such as hikes in the Skuleskogen National Park, a visit to the Gränsfors axe factory and quiet hours on SUP, on quiet lakes in the midst of a wide landscape. Astonishing this year: hardly any mosquitoes, which made spending time outdoors even more pleasant.

It was not completely without challenges. There was no cell phone reception in some regions, but it was easy to handle with offline cards.
The cabin once again proved to be a reliable companion. Quick to set up, stable and comfortable, even on long or uneven routes. Everything stayed in place, nothing loosened. The only wish for the future: retrofittable fly screens for the flaps would be a welcome addition.
After two weeks in Sweden, a wonderful trip will be remembered. A lot of nature, little planning and a vehicle that has proven itself even on remote roads.
