What we hear over and over again: “Uh, it's pretty big.” Because in the cabin, you can stretch out your feet and stand upright without any problems. Nevertheless, your pickup remains agile and suitable for everyday use.
The special feature: normal vehicle dimensions like a passenger car. This will take you anywhere a normal car goes on your adventure. The car's driving experience is completely retained thanks to its low weight and low center of gravity.

The cabin
A large tailgate that opens upwards replaces the original tailgate. This allows you to get close to your load and also provides rain protection in case of bad weather — so you don't have to take off your shoes when wet.
There are two large side flaps on the sides, which also allow access to your luggage or cargo.
Particularly practical: The many T-slot rails in the interior make it particularly easy to attach materials and equipment — other interior fittings or the installation of furniture are also very easy — without drilling!
The sleeping area is divided into two parts and can be folded up so that when the roof tent is open, you have standing height over almost the entire surface of the tub. By the way: a passage opening of at least 70 cm is always retained, even when the bed is folded down - this gives you the advantage of being able to get up or go to bed separately without disturbing the other person.
Your place to sleep
Our FIFTYTEN roof tent, which has been tried and tested for years, is also used in Truckbed Campers. Within 5 seconds, it is set up and ready to sleep, as pillows and blankets can always remain in the roof tent. A comfortable lying area of 1.40 m x 2.10 m with a custom-fit mattress and Froli disc springs ensure that you get the necessary rest while sleeping.
The roof tent is produced in our own in-house sewing shop and offers two side windows with mosquito net and a “door” at the rear that can be opened completely. This allows you to let fresh air and sun in right in the morning.

From an empty cabin to a complete upgrade — we've already done everything and know what's important. Thanks to our many years of experience, we can provide you with individual advice. You are free to decide which equipment options you need.
Heat and insulation
Do you also want to travel in colder areas or are you afraid that it will get too fresh at night?
We offer insulation for walls, flaps and roof, which is covered with carpet. We have also developed a custom-fit thermal inner tent for our roof tent, which is easy to tie in and keeps you warm even at sub-zero temperatures. Even when the roof is closed, the thermal tent can remain in place.
That's still not enough for you? We are also happy to install a parking heater by arrangement.
Electricity
We'll equip your cabin with a reliable power supply just the way you need it.
Whether solar panels for autonomous travel, power bank systems for longer trips or our lighting package with swivel LED lamps — everything is neatly integrated and tailored to your vehicle. On request, we can also install a refrigerator or cool box so that you are always well supplied when you are on the go.
Water
With the Truckbed Camper, we usually simply use a water canister that fits perfectly into the interior. There, you can quickly draw water to wash your hands or to wash dishes.

Furniture
There are no limits when it comes to furnishing your camper. We manufacture benches and upholstery, clever storage systems and practical kitchen furniture individually in our own workshop. From proven standard components to tailor-made solutions, we develop your ideal layout.
Our sophisticated bag systems from our in-house sewing shop, which fit perfectly into the interior of the Truckbed Camper, are particularly popular with our customers.

The assembly
The Truckbed Camper is bolted firmly onto the original pickup tub. We use the original lashing points so that no modifications have to be made to the tub and the vehicle can be rebuilt to its original condition at any time.
Would you like to change your vehicle? No problem!
You can take the Truckbed Camper with you - all DoubleCab cabins fit all DoubleCab pickups and, accordingly, 1.5 cabins.
How to get to your truckbed camper
We would be happy to make you an offer or make an appointment for a personal visit or a telephone call to discuss all your wishes and concerns.
Once the order is placed, it usually takes 3-5 months until your Truckbed Camper is finished. Depending on how much still needs to be done on site, the assembly takes up to a week on the next day.

No, the Truckbed Camper is not intended for regular assembly and removal. It is bolted to the original lashing points of the tub and can be easily dismantled when changing vehicles, for example. However, as the cabin does not have its own floor, it is not possible to simply set it down in between.
Yes, if the pickup size remains the same. If you had a double cabin before and then switch to another double cabin, you can easily take your Truckbed Camper with you. Only the mounting parts need to be adjusted.

Two adults can sleep comfortably in the roof tent. Some of our customers have added a second sleeping level for their children. Extracab pickups have an interior length of around 2m, so that even an adult could still sleep there. In principle, however, the cabins are designed for two people.
